Adult orthodontic treatment is rapidly expanding, with significant demand.   Ama established the ‘Adult Orthodontics….achieving simple excellence in practice’ 1-day course with his colleague and friend, Robert Kirschen, due to the lack of training in adult orthodontics being received by many trainees at the completion of their post-graduate training programmes. As such, this educational and clinical training shortfall required addressing. The 1-day program proved to be immensely popular and received gracious feedback. 

The aim of the post-graduate Diploma in Adult Orthodontics is to provide clinicians with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of managing adult orthodontic treatment and is intentionally clinical but supported by an evidence-based approach. 

This part-time, online modular programme provides post-graduate education for specialists and general dentists, with clinical experience of orthodontics, who wish to acquire the knowledge and skills to best deliver adult orthodontics to their clinical practice. The structure of the diploma course is designed to meet the needs of practitioners from all over the world.

The programme specifically develops your knowledge of adult orthodontics, in a step-wise and interactive manner, applying an evidence-based approach to clinical practice and the developing the skills required to successfully manage these patients.The course is delivered in a modular fashion, on unique interactive platform that not only allows you to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills but importantly the ability to both self-reflect on your learning through instant interactive feedback and regular online mentor lead forums.
